NANAIMO, BC: The Island Health Division of Plastic Surgery has two positions to join a group 5 surgeons at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. These positions have regular access to surgical time in the main operating room and minor procedure room, often with additional resources to pick-up.  Eligible candidates will hold FRCSC in Plastic Surgery and have full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.  The successful candidate will be required to provide the full spectrum of community plastic surgery care including breast surgery and reconstruction, hand surgery, microvascular reconstruction and wound care.  The ideal candidate will have fellowship training in breast reconstruction.  On call responsibilities are approximately 1 in 7 and includes MOCAP compensation.  The successful candidate must possess exemplary clinical skills in plastic surgery as well as professionalism, with evidence of excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.  Click for details.
