In addition to active participation in the Canadian Plastic Surgery community, membership in the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons offers a range of exclusive benefits. Click here to view member benefits.
Annual Dues – Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons
- Amount: CDN $675.00
- Payment due: Please ensure payment by February 28, to avoid any late fees.
Important Notes:
- Payments not received by February 28, will incur a $100.00 late fee.
- If dues remain unpaid as of June 1, your membership will be suspended until payment is received.
- Please note, only members whose dues are paid for the current year will be eligible for the CSPS Annual Meeting registration at the member rate.
Donation Opportunities: In addition to your membership, CSPS offers several ways to contribute:
- Educational Foundation of CSPS – The Educational Foundation of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons was created in 1982. The purpose of the Foundation is to support the Society’s members in their educational and research endeavors with a view to contributing to the excellence of Canadian healthcare.
- A. Ross Tilly Foundation – Dr. A. Ross Tilley Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Foundation was founded in 1989 to honor the great Canadian plastic surgeon, Dr. A. Ross Tilley. The foundation awards an annual scholarship to a graduating Canadian plastic surgeon who plans fellowship training in plastic surgery.
- Planetary Health Fund – This fund will be used to support an annual award for the best original project with the most impact on the environment (decreased greenhouse gas emissions, waste reduction or waste diversion), the largest potential for scale and spread and the greatest chance for sustainability.
CSPS Membership – Special Leave Policy:
The CSPS wants to support members who are taking leave from employment for health or family reasons.
Members in good standing who temporarily stop practicing for at least 6 months because of the birth or adoption of a child, medical illness, or other extenuating circumstances are eligible to request a hold on membership dues for the calendar year in which the leave is requested, or the following year if dues have been paid (no refunds will be issued).
Requests should be emailed to the President at admin@plasticsurgery.ca. The final decision will be at the discretion of the President.
