The Sustainability Action Committee was established by the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons (CSPS) to identify, develop, and promote strategies that reduce environmental impact within the practice of plastic surgery. The Committee’s primary mandate is to provide evidence-informed recommendations and practical guidelines aimed at improving recycling practices, reducing waste, and minimizing the carbon footprint in the operating room and related clinical environments.
