Facial Palsy Interest Group Session Debuts at the CSPS Annual Meeting

The Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons (CSPS) is pleased to introduce the Facial Palsy Interest Group Session as part of this year’s Annual Meeting. This new session will bring together Canadian surgeons and healthcare professionals with an interest in facial nerve palsy and facial reanimation surgery to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and future research opportunities.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about multidisciplinary facial nerve palsy clinics across Canada, explore the range of reconstructive procedures offered at different centres, and discuss challenging clinical cases. The session will also provide a forum to identify potential research initiatives and establish ongoing collaboration through quarterly virtual meetings focused on case discussions and shared learning.

This exciting addition to the scientific program aims to strengthen the national network of clinicians involved in facial nerve palsy care and advance patient outcomes through collaboration and innovation.
